Welcome to Chat Whisper, an adult chat haven.  Our goals are to bring you a home with a stress-free chat environment, few site politics, and a peaceful setting.  Obviously, how your "role-play" goes is up to you.

There are a few guidelines, as with any home, and they are strictly followed.  Violation of any of these guidelines is a cause for booting and possible permanent banning from the site.

• This is an adult only site. No minors allowed, at all.

• Any posting of child porn is strictly prohibited.   This includes the use of minor characters in roleplay in Gor or BDSM or ANY room that has open cybering or slave or blatant sexual characters.  In Gor, and BDSM/Erotica and other types of rooms, you can refer to child characters in your own posts, but it may not be a separate character, regardless of it being played by an adult.  (Sorry guys, just covering all of our assets, so to speak *G*).  Rooms with child characters will be approved at the time of the particular room opening, and if there is *any* sexual play around these characters or with them, the room will be closed.

• Harassment of any sort is a cause for immediate booting, and possible banning.  This includes, but is not limited to: the posting of real-life information, or supposed real-life information. 

• We are all adults, so respect each other.  Remember that when you are interacting with others you need to respect their opinions whether you agree with them or not.

• Read and understand the rules to each room. The staff will enforce them.  Ignorance will be no defense if you fail to read them.

• Impersonating someone else, throwing code into any room, or attempting to hack the rooms, are a cause for immediate banning.

• Displaying anything illegal (underage images, bestiality, etc) will cause you to be immediately booted, possibly banned.

• We are not responsible for anything that happens in the rooms.  By clicking enter to any of the rooms, you are agreeing that you are over the age of consent in your area to view adult content, that you will act as an adult and take proper precautions for protecting yourself.

• In an effort to keep the boards loading speed from slowing down, the avatar size allowed on the boards are 125X120. • Not all rooms in Erotica are theamed around BDSM

• In the BDSM realm, those wearing a Capped name are typically a Dominant and those with a lower case name, typically a submissive.  This is not a rule at Chat Whisper.

• Mutual consent is what distinguishes BDSM from abuse and assault, just as consent distinguishes sex from rape.

• Some individuals view BDSM as their sexual orientation, like heterosexuality, homosexuality, and bisexuality. Others view it as a chosen sexual practice. In either case it needs to be respected.

• Not all BDSM play is between heterosexual couples.

• People who practice BDSM may be either monogamous or polyamorous.

• People who are submissive with their partner in a BDSM "scene" may not be necessarily submissive in other aspects of their lives.

• BDSM can encompass physical and/or psychological interactions.

• Rings, collars, brands, piercing's or tattoos can be symbols of commitment which are as sacred as marriage bands.

• Not all women "sub/bottom" and not all men "dom/top."

• Most people will have a "safeword" while performing a scene.  Partners who know each other very well may sometimes "negotiate" a scene without a "safeword" -- this is still not abuse but a matter of profound trust.

• Public scening is allowed and encouraged in our rooms, again make sure you read the entrance pages. Some rooms maybe different.

Sometimes, you just need to be you and discuss everyday things.  In the comforting setting of the Whispers, feel free to do that.  You can use your Chat name or your real name, but this is the place to come when you need to step out of role-play rooms and just be real.
