Privacy Statement

Chat Whisper takes the privacy of our users very seriously.  At no time will your personal information or email address be sold or made available to anyone.  The only person who has access to personal information of our members is the site owner and this information is not stored anywhere that anyone can access it readily. 

Displaying of real life, personal information of anyone other than yourself anytime anywhere on our site is a cause for immediate booting, and possible banning.  This obviously doesn't apply if a person uses their real name on the site.

IP numbers

While chatting you will remain relatively anonymous, however, it is possible for a general user to detect your IP number.  We are in no way responsible for this.  

Illegal Conduct

We are not a public playground, but a privately owned company and therefore take measures to protect ourselves.  Any illegal activity is grounds for immediate booting, and a possible call to the authorities.  So if you would like to do anything deviant, take it elsewhere.  It is your responsibility to know the laws, and follow them.

Advertising

Posting advertising without permission will cause you to be immediately booted.  This includes, but is not limited to banners of personal business, spamming the message boards.  There is a links page where advertising is accepted.  If you wish to have an advertisement for your business or website posted, please contact the administrator at webmistress@chatwhisper.com.
